Hey guys,
I just got a B-grade 780i evga board from overclockers!
only the mother board turned up so I have no io plate, not sure how to get one either?
I need to test this board more importantly, I have a cpu that will arrive tommorow.
Whats the best way to test this board? I got a 8800gtx, a cpu, will nick the ram outa of my other system, but cant hook a HD to it,
and will have to try and use my current systems mod power supply to fire it up, is there anything I should be aware of while trying this? it will have to sit on a table while I do fire it up so it can be close to the other case that my psu is sat. and i'll have to try and fiddle it so power switch from my other case is hooked up.
this is my first build but i've stripped and rebuilt my other system that also has a 780i evga board
Im assuming that if I can get it to bios then the thing will work once I get an operating system?
cheers for any help
