text to speech software?

Hello wasn't sure where to post this so took where I may get the most replies

My problem is at work a customer wants to create a audio CD of some text which is like 2-3 letters long. Needs to be able to download a mp3 and then burn to a CD.

So I'm really just after a free software or something online to conver the text to speech and be able to download it as a mp3 file or any other audio file really.

Start Menu\Programs\Accessories\Accessibility

Its called Narrator.

IIRC it was introduced in Windows 2000 or 98, my mates and I used to use it to prank call people pretending to be Stephen Hawking

Yes but you cannot download it and burn it to a CD?...I need something that can be burned to a CD so they can send it to someone who is blind.

Click > [F5] if necessary > [Ctrl]+ > translate_tts.mp3

read & write gold maybe? I found nearly all the text to speech programs read all the menus and stuff as well with very little control to read specific bits

Cheers mate, We use IE at work but i can download chrome no problem
