I'd be dubious of using any program in association with my Steam account, purely for the fact that if you do get caught exploiting Valve usually tend to reward you with your account getting perma'd and all your games go along with it :)

I know what you mean, it's just as easy to go to an unlock server and hax through most of the achievements and then get a few friends to help you on the last one. Not real great learning of the class you are unlocking :)

Ive used unlocking programs in the past and had no problems. Mainly because some of the milestones were incredibly tedious to get to.
 
They don't ban your acc and your games if you unlock unlockables - what they did last time was just stripped people the right to get the unlocks for a whole week if caught using an unlocker app - nothing more, nothing less.

I didn't even notice, :p shows how much i use the new weapons.

I for one enjoy the challenge that the milestones provide for unlocks. Using an application just voids the whole reason there are milestones to begin with...

Plus it's incredibly lame

Not really, imo it actually breaks the game because so many people are whoring out those classes to get the new weapons. The sooner theyre got the sooner the game gets back to regular every day play.

So u think ppl suddenly stop playing the class the moment they've got the weapons they worked so hard for? I think it's quite the opposite imo.

However I will be happy if the milestones are removed, because the cheats ruin the accomplishment for everyone else.

Well there was plenty on here talking about how some of the acheivements were incredibly grinding and boring to get. There will also be plenty on here either on a farming server getting them (which again defeats the purpose of the system) or just unlocking them with a program.

I didn't say that, i said that these unlocks break the game for a set period of time because everyone dives onto servers and immediately picks the class with the new unlocks. Its the same every time a new set of unlocks come out, you can go onto servers and find the vast majority whoring out that one paticular class unless the admin has set limits on it.

Once the gimmick of the new stuff wears of though it settles down but that can take as long as a week or more.

To Gerard and the guy calling it lame, I can see both of your sides. Nothing worse when new unlocks come out and you are on some custom server where they allow 5 of each classs...gets stupid.

Even on servers I frequent that are vanilla in terms of gameplay settings, those classes are always full and bloody constant.

I have earned many of the achievements myself, however, I have also been known to hacks the odd few achievements on the final milestone (etc) to get the final unlock.

Call it desperate, frustrated or impatient but it works for me. The scout one was a particular pain because you had to get milestone 1 to effectivley unlock 2 and 3.

Still, enough fussin and feudin! We got an update soon!!!!!!1111oine
