Moderate your alcohol intake and check for Adam's Apples before getting jiggy, else you're definitely going to Bangkok(s).
They treat them badly to do tricks.
The one I went to didn't have them doing any tricks. No rides. We just fed them and gave them a mud bath.
Great ladyboys if that's your thing.
Do you have to go to Bangkok and Phuket?
29 and yes but equally there to see as much as possible.I went to Bangkok for three days, it was enough. How old are you? Do you want to get drunk?
Where was that, i know there's an elephant sanctuary in Kanchanaburi but i never saw any elephants in BKK, except at the zoo, and the poor thing looked poorly looked after![]()
What happens in Bangkok....Don't assume the girl on the corner is actually a girl![]()
Spent ~3 weeks travelling round Thailand last year. We weren't in Bangkok for long, but on our first day had a private tour from http://www.thaitourguide.com/_index.php with 'Mr George' which was great.
Is your accommodation booked in Bangkok? I'd consider flying up to Chiang Mai and spending sometime there too. Internal flights are cheap, and it's not far (you can fly from Chiang Mai to Phuket)
Get down to Pattaya. My brother moved over 6 years ago for a holiday and never came back.
Funnily enough I am taking the Mrs there to spend Xmas on Koh Pha Ngan (well Santhiya resort to be exact). Thailand is an absolutely beautiful country, don't get caught up in the tourist traps, venture out a bit.
It really depends what you want from a holiday. If your idea of a a great holiday is 2 weeks in Magaluf then Pattaya will suit you fine; if you like to visit more picturesque locations then you’d be better off heading North or South.
