Maybe if John Lewis put this level of effort into improving it's commercial operations as it does with it's Christmas adverts they would improve their financial performance.
Oh do be quiet... Take the advert how it's meant Ebeneezer...

I was waiting for this.Screw John Lewis, its not Christmas until the Coca Cola truck is here
I'm sorry but the family with the boxer dog who mimicked it was the best thing that has ever happened in life.I quite liked that (this year's ad).
My fave though will always be Man on the Moon.
My least fave was the one about the dog (or fox?) jumping on the trampoline. That's because videos of owner' dogs jumping on trampolines got plastered all over the internet in response to the ad.
Fancy not having an understanding of humour in a post rather than factual statementI was waiting for this.
Fancy allowing oneself to be dictated to by the maker of a fizzy drink as to when christmas starts.
It’s surprising how many people do actually say that and mean it.Fancy not having an understanding of humour in a post rather than factual statement
Probably quite a lot I imagine, what marks the start of Christmas for me is when I set foot in CanadaIt’s surprising how many people do actually say that and mean it.
Who thinks Coca-Cola christmas advert is the start of christmas?
OK so I think the Christmas adverts with the lorries rolling through a little town marks the start of Christmas. Does anyone else get excited by this advert? Or do you look forward to some other sign to mark the start of Christmas?forums.overclockers.co.uk
Humbug! Humbug to it all!Oh do be quiet... Take the advert how it's meant Ebeneezer...

Why do people say 'I've been loving' instead of 'I love'?
