Forums need responsive images.

What's stupid about it Martin?
I'd like to see a proper counter argument if you're going to come up with an aggressive reply like that.
I agree with what this chap has to say. It's fine as it is. Just link to a larger image, if you're that bothered by it. I too have a large monitor, but I don't have my web browser/s taking up the entire screen, as most web pages won't make use of the space anyway. As such I still have to scroll or stretch the window when someone posts something massive.
The forum needs the auto resize mod as per other forums.
HOWEVER, it must dynamically scale to the screen res.
On my 15" MBP I want 1024x768, on my 27" 2560x1440 monitor I want 1920x1080 (AKA as large as poss).
It annoys the hell out of me on forums with loads of photos (28 days later forums) that I have to click on everyone to make it larger.
Hopefully the coding bods on this forum will come up with a streamlined solution!!
Everything I post online is 800 pixels wide or 640~ tall so the 1024 rule doesn't affect me![]()
I have found those dimensions to be suitable adequate for people browsing from virtually any device of modern age. 1024 wide still requires some sideways action with the cursor or finger.
Is this for thinking of others and/or for stealing purposes? I like that idea. Maybe I should try it.
I've always used 1280. It's not that big these days so go ahead if you want to.
