^^ah doing some internet research its quite possible I didn't have my shoulders in far enough/ie right next to my body - will retry on Monday - apparently if form wrong - and they'renot in close enough you put a weird angle on your wrists

Had a go at some heavy-ish bench yesterday just for a laugh. Pushed up 150kg fairly comfortably which I was surprised by!
This is going to sound silly but is there an exercise or exercises that can be done instead of deadlifting? (not SLDL) I really don't get on with it, never been comfortable with it and don't want to ruin my back...
