I know this is not to be discussed, so I won't. But I will say this, my mate from work has been on the tiger juice the past five months and his size and strengths gains ... I've never seen anything like it. I'm like a newborn baby next to him and this is a guy that 'I' introduced to the gym.
Leaves you slightly bitter and wondering if you're doing the right thing.
have not squatted in 4 months (been doing physio).
also i said im gonna do 140kg (not ready for 160kg)
first time back i did 100kg for reps.
second time back i did 120kg for reps
third time will be 140kg for reps
i'll be doing 180kg within 2 weeks i would hope. im just taking it easy, because i dont want to exasperate a very bad injury i have (loose patella and extreme hyper mobility).
Leg day
Biked it to gym then worked the legs hard
Squated 70kg 10 reps with no sweat in squat rack, happy with my form and strength to push on
huh, as rather doing a leg session then sitting in a metal box going home, just because I do a session doesn't mean I can't pedal my bike, put in over 280 miles cycling this month, every time I have been t'gym I have gone on my bike.
deal with it
Lets just get this into perspective, you said you worked the legs hard.what, it was easy, not straining myself going in thinking I am the boss, slow and sure wins the race
Only issue with straps is, you can spend to much time on the floor preparing.
I'm in the same boat with the mixed grip, way prefer both hands over the bar but after about 130kg its game over. I only do singles on the deadlift, so I'm not too worried about imbalances. Tried reversing my mixed grip a few times but got some horrible results![]()
