Very hard group to call today. I wouldn't have much faith in anything requiring a certain win. Portugal might do a Netherlands or might roll over and die.

My gut feeling (which is by no means ever right) :D Is to go for something like Ghana, Iran, Portugal (all) No clean sheet.

Probably will only get Evens on it. Having looked not even that, 1.83!

I'd like to say under 2.5 goals in the Iran Nigeria game, but this World cup isn't short of goals, even for the lesser sides.

Tbh for 8.5/1 Take the chance, there doesn't seem to be much value in anything else atm.

I put some WC winner bets on William Hill on Friday, totalling £6.25. I remember my balance going down from £16.25 to £10 after, also logged in an Excel file. However my balance last night returned to £16.25 and there is no sign of those bets. If I wasn't so sure I remember seeing my balance go to £10 and me not realise I hadn't actually put on all 8 bets, I would have put it down to a lapse. Very odd.

EDIT - done them again with different odds, stuck a little more on the Netherlands ;)

Germany/Draw/Draw is 23.21. Tempted with a fiver, but I've been useless with my bets so far.

Ozil at 4.0 for Anytime Goalscorer also looks tempting. Am I right in thinking he's still their penalty taker too?

Nearly lumped on the Switzerland/Argentina/France treble yesterday at 4/1, gutted I didn't in the end.

I think the odds on the Germany Portugal game are a bit off, Portugal seems to be good value as a back to lay. I however don't have a betfair account so can't do that. I'd never have considered the odds should be that much, unless Ronaldo doesn't start.

I really think the game could go either way.

I think I'll just do a bit of fun.

Really not sure what to go for today. Probably going to place £1 bets on the following.

Iran/Nigeria & Ghana/USA under 2.5 goals.

Don't expect to win any though. :D
 
Tough call today. I've just gone with BTTS in Germany v Portugal and Ghana v USA.

I'm really looking forward to both of those matches. I think I'll take some time to watch the last episode of Game of Thrones during Iran v Nigeria...
 
There is a possible bet to consider. The Germany/Portgual game is being ref'd by a very card happy referee. Average 5 cards a game, up to 8 in some games.
This is his first WC game he might try go a bit mad under the pressure of two big sides, and the Portuguese love to take a dive.

Over 4.5 cards @2.7

Either that or a Wincast Anytime of Klose/Germany.

Same as most. Just click all the games you want and on the bottom of the betslip it will say Single/Double/Triple/Accumulator based on how many you add from 1-4>

Have just added £10 on Draw HT/Draw FT. They'll both be happy enough with a draw if it means they don't have to work too hard.
 
Germany at 2.14 before kick off was far too good to be true. Also went for the >4.5 cards aswell which is off to a decent start.

There's been quite a few penalties so far and the keepers have all gone the right way (that i can remember), yet none have been saved.
