Perhaps on the tower £500 take the two red wing fans also the arctic freezer cooler out and replace with the tuniq tower and with a few quid left for a the high cfm yate loon fan, a possible idea anyway.

Very helpfull thread for someone like me who is just wading through hundreds of speccing threads trying to get my bearings in this ever changing market.

Thanks for your time and effort and the regular updated.

Concider this a bump too of course.....it would also be very helpful as a sticky. If any mods are reading...(im too scared to press that button you all talk about).

Dam

Press the button, it isn't just for bad posts or swearing. Regardless of what the FAQ says it is also for posts that should be brought to the mods attention - whether that will mean this is read more or less is a matter for debate but if you think this should be made a sticky the best way to give it a chance is to RTM it. :)

Hahahaaha, i just use the attention button aswell. I thought it was for only actual bad thomgs of that makes sense. But yeah, we can only hope!

Free bump!

Just wanted to briefly say thank you very much shaffaaf27 for this thread (and to overclockers.co.uk and the helpful people in this forum).

I recently bought your suggested £500 PC from overclockers and am very happy with it indeed. With the guides available here it was the first PC I've ever built and have now even overclocked it too 3.4Ghz.

Many Thanks :)

Maybe on the £750+ builds use one of the theralright + fan instead of the tuniq tower, as i think they are considered as better heatsink, and add yate loon on it.
Also i have noticed that the tuniq tower is 5 quid more so should be able to fit the TRUE and yate loon in there.

And i know the case is sunjective and everything but i would personally but a antec 300 in stead of the Hush in the 750 build. With remaining cash maybe a 1TB HDD. Or any other goodies.
