just started playing GTA3 again, it is still good but vice city rules supreme, don't get me started on that rubbish san andreas.

Totally agree, Vice City was pure class, GTA3 was revolutionary, San Andreas was poor with swearing for the sake of it. It was so stereotypical that it was dull and boring. Nothing new.

Plotwise (and music wise), Vice City reigns supreme. However San Andreas is so much fun! Some of the missions are hillarious, and there is so much to do. Yes of course it has its faults, as does every GTA game. Of course this is my personal opinion and does not mean you are wrong saying that you prefer Vice City :p

Very sexy screenshots there FSB, what aircraft is that? If you have the C-47 Skytrain (Dakota) could you take some shots of it please. I bloody love that plane lol :D.

Its a DeHaviland DH104 "Dove" And a damn fine aircraft she is too...
All I have is the default DC3, Its looks decent enough so Ill get some pics up later.

Oh, and I flew on the Air Atlantique DC3 for a charter a while ago :D

Ill take your word for that one ;) I just land, dont use the instruments much

Good God man! The 4 red lights in that last screen-shot were designed precisely for the johnny-come-lately such as yourself that shuns his instruments!

As much as I recognise your love of "all planes old" I'll take a piccy of my approach into Malaga tomorrow in my far-too-shiny-for-your-liking B737-800 and show you how good those lights are when you're flying over large hills.

Thats where the APP comes in handy :D

Although the default 737/74/77 suck at autolanding. You want the Level-D 767. Flares and everything :)

If you want some proper autolandings, you want to do it in a Trident: The origional pioneer.
Dont bother with the payware version that has recently appeard as it it utter tripe. The freeware version by DM is miles better. ;)

I allways prefer to do visuals, but when the visibility isnt very good I lock onto the ILS and then once I have the runway lights in sight turn off the autopilot and take her down manually.

yeah I just tend to find problems getting the approach hold to work with me. Probably the fact I only play it once a week if lucky and that is online lol

yes, but I only have the North-West VFR atm. Its cool as you can navigate the way to work via the same route you would take in a car ect :D Also got loads of local landmarks around Liverpool installed, so I can fly for ages in light aircraft and not not need to look at a map/gps.

Only problem is the loading times tbh.

I wish i could only play flightsim.....It just seems so difficult to me to understand......I can never get to grips with the flight planning vfr thingy
