The 800x600 MAXIMUM screenshot thread (56k no no)

I have to admit TOCA 3's graphics are'nt the best on PC. But then again there really isn't much on PC other then R fatcor maybe that actually has better graphics. Even GTR and GT Legends isn't that much better looking. I will say how ever that PGR3 has nice graphics, shame its not on PC. On the gameplay side it is pretty good. As for arcade style racing I think not. You must have been playing on the easiest setting. Arcade style means not braking at corners and keeping the accelerator on the whole time. I'd like to see you win a race doing that on TOCA 3.

hey how did you get them weapon skins into css.

Download the zip file from a website, I usually use HERE and then unzip the files to:

C:\Program Files\Valve\Steam\SteamApps\<username>\counter-strike source\cstrike

There is normally a readme sile in the zip file explaining how to do it also.

**NOTE** Make sure you back up your materials, models, scripts and sounds folders before changing anything. The amount of times doing that has saved my rear end is unreal as those are the 4 folders that get changed.

Also, dont update your glock, USP, or mp5 as some servers wont let you on.

Its a lot of hassle for what is a few new guns skins, but they are soo much tidier than Valves attempt.

I have to say Cod2 is beckonning me... Just a little too pricy still...

You need a fast computer to run it nicely. I have to run it nearly on minimum spec @ 1024 x 800 (or something like that) to get it to run at a playable speed. I have 1gb RAM, Barton 2500 @ 200x11 and 9800SE :D.

Recently upgraded to a spec to last a good couple of years, so at the moment performance isn't much of an issue :). Its just the purse strings, and free time!
