^ why destroy what was/is an amazing game by using graphics filters and add ins.
It should be playing in a dark room in 320x240 using no mouse and the cursors

Download the zip file from a website, I usually use HERE and then unzip the files to:

C:\Program Files\Valve\Steam\SteamApps\<username>\counter-strike source\cstrike

There is normally a readme sile in the zip file explaining how to do it also.

**NOTE** Make sure you back up your materials, models, scripts and sounds folders before changing anything. The amount of times doing that has saved my rear end is unreal as those are the 4 folders that get changed.

Also, dont update your glock, USP, or mp5 as some servers wont let you on.

Its a lot of hassle for what is a few new guns skins, but they are soo much tidier than Valves attempt.
remember though, this does NOT work with all the models, some have additional files to allow you to chose what colour you want etc. it would be wiser to extract each folder individually.

I tried (forced really since the mouse doesnt work in the collectors edition) when i first got it on pc and lasted for all of 5 seconds on it :p Guess i'm just spoiled when it comes to mice :D

I did'nt realise posting a few GZDoom pics would stirr peoples emotions up, I guess it's each to their own, I love doom and I always will and I can't help feeling a little disgruntled when people accuse me of "Destroying" a game just b-cos I like to run it with better IQ and in opengl, I personaly feel that it compliments the game and helps give it a new lease of life, it's exactly the same game but looks nicer and is more easy to control.

Every single MMO I have ever played has had a nearly identical UI layout to that.

Compare it to this:

Linege II screenshot, or this one

The only difference over a standard setup is I like my button controls on the left hand side of the screen, and I prefer my chat to be on a black background rather than the default transparent.

The whole UI is 90% the same, with just a few changes to befit it being more futuristic than fantasy based.

The WoW UI is pretty much identical to the RF online UI also, what's your point? Most MMO's use a similar UI layout.

I didn't actually think Tron was a very good game, graphics were good but it felt too much like a disney game (which it is). Can't stand running around collecting all these "coins"
