Soldato
remember though, this does NOT work with all the models, some have additional files to allow you to chose what colour you want etc. it would be wiser to extract each folder individually.Stellios said:Download the zip file from a website, I usually use HERE and then unzip the files to:
C:\Program Files\Valve\Steam\SteamApps\<username>\counter-strike source\cstrike
There is normally a readme sile in the zip file explaining how to do it also.
**NOTE** Make sure you back up your materials, models, scripts and sounds folders before changing anything. The amount of times doing that has saved my rear end is unreal as those are the 4 folders that get changed.
Also, dont update your glock, USP, or mp5 as some servers wont let you on.
Its a lot of hassle for what is a few new guns skins, but they are soo much tidier than Valves attempt.

why destroy what was/is an amazing game by using graphics filters and add ins. It should be playing in a dark room in 320x240 using no mouse and the cursors
Doom is a no-mouse, no-jump, no-aiming gameDuouk2000 said:I agree minus the mouse part, just feels too clumsy without it.

The only difference over a standard setup is I like my button controls on the left hand side of the screen, and I prefer my chat to be on a black background rather than the default transparent.
The whole UI is 90% the same, with just a few changes to befit it being more futuristic than fantasy based.
