Also, can you mod the demo, because I heard you can use the demo as the full game, so is this possible?

With the demo you get 3 cars and one track (with 3 configs). It plays as good online as the full game but none of your stats are stored on LFSWorld, and most of the demo servers are full of muppets who would rather hit you than race you.

The texture packs will work with the demo, as it is essentially the full game with most of the content locked.

Since essentially the demo is a locked version of the game, most things should work.

HERE is a list of a few mods. I love the pitspotter mod, it tells you if a car is alongside you, making racing a lot easier.

Grr, ATI CCC doesn'ty open, so I downloaded ATI tray tools. I set 6 AA and :eek:

its not bad. I may buy the full version since my b-day is on sunday

! But does anyone know how to make sepeerate profiles on Tray Tools?

Do you have the .NET Framework installed?

Right click > Game Profiles > Manage Profiles

Your spec looks similar to mine, I can use 'Max Quality' at 1600x1200 and get good fps with a full grid

Yeah that was me that was in Reikoku and UK alliance. Is UK Alliance still going. I was the owner after everyone left and it was mainly populated by about 5 people that never logged on. I just left it and abandoned it.

Been playing with the Cellfactor demo/editor on a non PhysX computer. With the amount of wingeing people have been doing about the performance of the level I was pleasantly surprised at how well (relatively) it ran. I did some tweaks in the editor config file, but nothing major. Things to note:

Some pics have HDR enabled, should be reasonably obvious which ones.
FPS count is in the list on the right of every shot.
Cloth and liquids not functioning/running.
Note non tiled/repeating water.
Shooting at walls produces 3D fragments that move when you walk over them.
Nice, and fun but we shouldn't be thinking that we should be amazed by this - it's the use of this technology in proper games that will ADD to existing gameplay and make future games a bit better.

how do you insert screenshots (or pictures) into this forum???Only way i seem to be able to do is post a link to Imageshack or similar. There is an insert image icon just above this text area but when you click on it ... its a script prompt..enter the image to be formatted. Any help?
