The graphics are also top notch and unique. Overall its a step in the right direction, but a step too far in some cases. Some maps just exaggerate the HDR lighting way too much, but lighting in the map below looks almost perfect.

Dont tap it, just get on the power smoothly. You do have to get on the power a bit later than you would in other cars though.Nieldo said:bah I cant be doing them v8s, I always tap the throttle to early on the way out of the corner, just for a split second and thats enough to spin the backside out... which I do a lot

Having just started playing Far Cry, I can see no mention of HDR in the menu, is there a tweak somewhere?OzZie said:Stunning picture. That shows the real effects of high dynamic range lighting in FC.
Patch it to the latest version and you can activate HDR through the command console. If you have an X1*00 graphics card you can do HDR+AA too.Roduga said:Having just started playing Far Cry, I can see no mention of HDR in the menu, is there a tweak somewhere?
Cool, I did the patches yesterday and have an X1900 XTX. I'll Google it tonight.Exsomnis said:Patch it to the latest version and you can activate HDR through the command console. If you have an X1*00 graphics card you can do HDR+AA too.
