The 800x600 MAXIMUM screenshot thread (56k no no)

I gotta say, the prey demo looks fantastic...after playing f.e.a.r. for a few days its nice to play a game that actually looks great and runs great! Maxed out details, 4xAA/8xAF with no stuttering in sight! :D

Hehe, this guy cracked me up untill a put him out of misery. :p

By the way, did anyone experience a graphical glitch in the spiritworld level, where the bright blue sky would suddenly turn a dull blue colour when looking in certain directions?
 
how the hell do i set 1440x900 for pray, 1024x768 is quite annoying. when i move i can also see a sort of line go down the screen, like the refresh rate is 30hz on a crt or something :(

aii it's pure arcade thrills and enjoyment, nothing serious, just all out foot to the floor drifting...

if you expect a game like toca/gran turismo then you will be disappointed.

if you remember the original outrun around 1986 then no doubt you will love this ;)

camera was close to hand, wasnt sure what key to use in-game for screen grab, didnt have time to set up a screen grab proggie.

simple convenience.

what is a good piece of software for taking screenshots btw ?

dont worry, i hate doing 300 laps of the same track type games. I really enjoyed games like chase hq, hard drivin' and others. Games like outrun and roadrash are pure fun nothing else. which is what a game should be. where did you get it and where can i get a demo?

good to hear from someone who shares my views ! chase hq remake now that would be a nice idea ;)

i purchased the game online from a well known store. a demo doesn't exist yet i'm afraid :(

Get yourself a PSP. Pursuit force is a blast and is the closest thing to Chase HG I have found. Some sites have it for as little as £15.
