Completely different games. I can't stand oblivion either but the witcher is my favorite game of all time. It's in a different league.
play it, you'll enjoy it and wont remember half the dialogue, thus like playing a new game!
I agree although I wish they'd hurry up with patch 1.2.

TBH I cant remember most of it. All I remember was all the late nights I spent playing it.

I thought that aswell when i first started playing Oblivion, i couldnt get into at all, i planned to stop playing it, but then i use to play it sometimes, when i was bord and i somehow managed to get really into it.
Especially the excellent storyline and Character Development, the only info i can give is, stick with it for abit and see if you get into it, because its a great game, worth playing if you got a PC that can run it.

i know this is from eons ago, but what game is this? im in need of a time wasting risk style game and this looks like it will fit the bill perfectly

i guess thats the problem right there for me, I only get a couple of hours in the evening in peace, thats split between froums, browsing & petting the cat - really interupted time. Always find myself playing jump in games often with trainers for offline story lines
oblivion is a lovely game graphically, the seasons & times of day etc. wish I'd had it say 7 years ago when (i think) when i was playin FFVII on PS2 12hrs straight - the good old days!

yeah what you mean mate, but i would definatly hold on to that game, its worth playing, but give it about 5-10hours of play before you give up on it and i think you will start enjoying it lots

What a difference!!! Windows XP and with these settings (played on Delta) really is how I should have played it at the start. Much better imo and the added bonus of being smooth too! DX10 can go jump. lol.
