RAF St. Athans repairs certain aircraft I think. The whole load of them might need some update, delete that awful Boeing autopilot software maybe :o
[training not repair now it seems]

The best helo for flyby is the chinook, giant bongo drum sounding beast and very fast apparently.

Westland Wildcat Helicopters (Naval Replacement for Lynx).

I can confirm that the CH-47 is the best helicopter ever, having worked on them for 6 years (1990-1996).

Thanks, yes the colours match the Westlands.

We also get the occasional dual rotor, so i'll assume Chinnooks, flying overhead at a similar altitude and they sound like earthquakes ( in an awesome way )
