iBooks is on the app store now

Glad I bought my iPad to work with me today!

Just rang TNT and the due date for my delivery is the 27th, so a day earlier.

The tracking number usually appears on Apple's site, once the UK couriers have it.

It can pass through multiple carriers on the way from Shenzen (China) if that's where it was shipped, so they only really give you 1 number at the end of it's journey or if it's with 1 courier from the get-go e.g. if TNT handle it all the way.

If you order accessories then it will usually merge in a distribution hub in the Netherlands, so it's likely you'll get a tracking number later. I've even had a tracking number appear AFTER I signed for it

Don't panic people. I've not seen a late Apple delivery for a major product launch.

Hardly the end of the world, or were you looking forward to downloading some free books and reading them at work? Can't say I'm interested in any of the free offerings, I'll be more interested when the proper store is online.

I still have a few books I've bought from the Kindle store to read yet anyway

Been to the Apple store today. It'll be a first come first serve on Friday so I doubt I'll get one when i get there at lunch time as I start work at 9 and they don't open until 9:30. Even if they have a midnight opening i can't get there at midnight anyway. But the good news is that they get delivery everyday and from saturday onwards you can reserve one.

I had an email this morning, the doors are opening at 8am on Friday,

Yeah, the store is a bit bare at the moment. After my initial 2 minute flick through Winnie The Pooh I like the look of the app and the page turning is very nice.

So what can you be doing wrong. With mine I goto

http://www.tnt.com/express/en_gb/site/home.html

On that page I goto the Track Package box on the right hand side and select the Track-International tab. I then put my

Delivery Reference Number

from my Your Apple Order W123456789 Has Been Shipped email from the weekend into the box, change the selection box from consignment to reference then press Track.

Of course if you're not shipping with TNT this may not work

Thanks, that's one of the methods I have tried but it still does not track. I'll start to panic on Thursday if it hasn't been picked up be then. I did order a case so it may be coming via the Netherlands and thus may not track until it leaves there.

Contacted O2 yesterday in regards to getting a micro sim, spoke to 3 people and not one could order one for me, saying they're not on they're systems yet.

Also spoke to Orange last week and they said they were not in stock, but would hold my details and process when they came in.

Might have to cut down the SIM in my orange mobile broadband dongle if they don't have them. Though I wonder if the Apple stores will have them in the shop when they do the iPad release on Friday.

I've got my temporary case yesterday and I just received my screen protectors. All I'm missing now is the iPad.

Read the thread. You get a tracking number when it reaches UK couriers.

my UPS order just says Billing Information Recieved.

I'm guessing it's going to get delivered on the 27th, which is annoying since nobody will be at home -_-

I ordered my 02 sim card when I ordered the I pad form the Apple store , I have also ordered my free sim from 02 the one for £10 a month with unlimited Internet on it and will play with that , I am not suite sure what to do yet .

What website are you using to track UPS and what format is the code you are using. As whatever combination I use, is not found. Thanks for any help!
