Someone try adding their own epub book, and tell me if it shows up in the iBooks app.

works fine, same way as adding your own mp3's

I've used calibre (free download) to get meta data, covers etc, it also has an ipad template for the conversion :D

Yeah, I use calibre too.. but I don't have an iPad to test.

Got several magazines sitting in my iTunes library ready to go :(
 
Cool. Have they updated calibre recently?

I don't remember the iPad template.. just an option to choose which platform Apple/Stanza etc

yeah they released an update which included a specific ipad output template

you can also read directly from the calibre database over your lan using the readme app rather than upload to ibooks (not sure why you would want to though, books are tiny)

thank god I'm not the only sad case :D

Just thinking that why can't we have access to the location of the van delivering our items via gps and Google Maps? How cool would that be? That'd be a great way to track your items. If you knew the van was in a near by town it'd give you time to pop out or something.

I think DHL have something similar, i remember having a parcel delivered and tracking it on my phone. Not so much as where they are, but much smaller and accurate time window for delivery.
 
You just don't realise how sexy it is till you handle one.

If anyone has TNT saying it's still at the depot then I have the same though it's now sat in my house.

Stupid me thought the screen was scratch until I realise it was a star trail :o

This is so much better than an iTouch/iPhone. The extra screen size makes it instantly usable as a desktop calendar. However my contacts seem to have been doubled. Everyone in twice but one copy has the 2nd line of the address missing.

Initial impression is the accelerometers are less sensitive than the iTouch. Maybe that's due to the size/mass but it's much harder to get the AirHorn to sound louder by shaking it.

Must stop playing and do some work.......
