Just need to work out how to access my works email via Safari and OWA and I'm content.

My only real concern was the 3 North Koreans who jumped out the shipping box and legged it when it arrived.
 
Right then what do I think of the iPad.

It's awesome but we all knew it would be (even those who **** us off in here because they secretly want one but can't afford it ;)).

The speaker is actually not bad considering, listening to some tunes as I type this on my PC. I need to find my Apple earphones that I had a week ago but can't remember where I put them for safety.

The stand I bought from the bay does it's job very well, in landscape as well as portrait, and makes it easier to have the iPad sat on the desk next to me and will be great for using the iPad as an alarm clock replacing my phone for that job. Mentioning the phone, Android sorry :p, I just texted a few people to tell them how good the iPad is and it felt so bloody small in my hand.

The screen is beautiful and clear. Rotation is so fast I sat here spinning it for a few mins just because I could. I haven't noticed any dead pixels yet but haven't really had a good look.

iTunes and the App Store are so well polished, as they should be by now, and as much as I love my Android phone, and I'm certainly no Apple Fanboi, the Android Market, whilst very good, is way behind Apple's.

The only negative for me is the length of the usb lead. Could have done with being double the length. I'll see if you can buy longer ones.

Yep that annoyed me too. You can buy a longer official one or just get a cheapo USB extension.

So regretting not pre-ordering one of these now :(

Doubt I'd get one even if I got myself to Milton Keynes tomorrow either, they'll probably be a massive queue :(
 
Mines been delivered, despite a slight scare which made it appear like it had been delivered. Turns out that the driver had accidentally signed all of his parcels as delivered in his name. I wonder whether he had an ebay account ready...
 
I was going to go to MK tomorrow and get one before I decided pre ordering via Apple would be the best option. Remember the shop opens at 0800.

Give it a go, you've got nowt to lose.
 
Does it? Is that definitely the case as it's in the shopping centre so surely it depends when that opens?

I might do it, just get down there for about 7 and be a saddo outside

The driver who delivered mine, who coincidently remembered my house from when he delivered a mattress to me last year, told me it had originally been put on the wrong truck and someone only noticed at the last moment. How ****ed would I have been had I not got it today because of that mistake?

Very is the simple answer :D

I'm sure Steve Jobs will send the police round to the MK shopping centers managers house if it's not opened early.
 
So anyone else downloading lots and lots of crap apps? I never download anything on my iPhone but for some reason I'm grabbing all the free iPad games just to see what they're like!

Love the youtube app, works and looks really nice.

Been using mine on holiday for the last week. Loaded it up with magazines and spent hours Reading on it. It's really come into it's own!!!

Ipad where have you been all my life :)
