I use the Uxtheme hack, to install new themes. I get my themes from Deviantart, I then use YZdock for the docklet, using icons from deviantart, ive changed all the other icons with ones from deviantart, and my wallpaper is from erm.. deviantart. Oh, and I use Samurize as well.

lol do deviantart have their own server for you? :p

cheers, i got samurise on, downloaded one off their site i liked the look of, would love to no how to fully customise it but ah well lets get the theme first :D
 
Icon Packager is a popular one. Although some replacement packs will change your icons as well. I covered another app in customizing guide (link in sig). I'm adding another section to it in the next day or two which adds some links to some of the transformation packs available. Beyond that I'll be adding a little more about samurize.
 
AFAIK the only way to get a glass effect in XP is to use something like Windowblinds. To me that looks like one Samurize config, although it could be just as easily done with several configs. Have a look in the Samurize folder, and you will find a program called instance manager, have a play about with that.
 
well after some messing around with themes and colours and tweakUI i got a simple design i like, gonna start messing around with samurize though that thing there i nicked from someone else i want more of a shiny config, anyone got any links?

Anyone know of a decent application that supports all file types for changing your wallpaper randomly at specified times? I found 1 or two but they use like 20mb of ram and the MS one doesnt have enough configuration options. Thanks!
 
That glass effect can be done without windowblinds, the background images have transparency effects (if it's like my config, which is similar to Plus_44's).
The one on the left is almost certainly one config, the right one could be but you would have to be very precise in the editor to get the spacing. Probably easier to have a second instance.

Yea i have got WB5 but the 1 i posted is not that one it's made by jemaho called Vista 1.4 and is by far the best one available plus the one you posted the shell doesnt seem to work well for me but Thanx anyways

that one has been taken off i believe, killed by MS most likely... like many
