How long before you change things?
Whats they favorite part of your current desktop?

-I don't really get bored of it.
-I keep my desktop usually for around 1-2months.
-The fact that I know where everything is & the way it fits.

Spent the last couple days reading through this thread. Love some of the desktops on show.

Going to dot around with a few of the programs etc. and see what i can come up with. Shall post a picture once i'm done.

Aye, that's a good idea.

Got a few questions that i don't think were answered through the thread:

1. How resource hungry are Rainlendar, AveDesk and Samurize?

2. How to you convert a set of icons to an Icon Packager file?

It depends.

1. Rainlendar for the most part will munch 3-5mb of ram. Thats when I used to use it. Now I just use Longhorn SysClock

2. Avedesk - Once again it depends on how many widgets you've got loaded as well as icons and other lark. I've just got 4 largish icons on my desktop and it's eating just 600k - quite good. I hate widgets.

3. Samurize - Once again, depends how much screenspace you designate for your config. Samurize is the lowest resource munching desktop info tool there is. I create mine to use the lowest amount of ram possible so mine eats just 3mb. [pic]
