ty .... you still dont need the software if you have a asdl modem.... eg netgear linksys etc unless you use it .... my dad prefers it for some reason :confused:
 
I don't use itif I can avoid it, but you do need to sign in unless you're using a router and the program used for that is playing up (well, it is AOL). My router also for some strange reason won't work with this computer, fine in my laptop and other computers yet won't work on here.

I normally photoshop anything AOL related out to avoid this! :p

so how are connected then? if you're using an usb adsl modem you can still connect to aol without the junk. you just need to create a dial up connection manually in the network control panel. set the phone number to

0,38

and use your aol username and password as the credentials. :)

the latest one, just borough a Macbook and I cant stand it, I install software reboot and its gone.

install software which then decides it doesn't want to work with other users

you cant maximize windows.

I hate Microsoft, but I hate Mac even more...especially since that notebook cost me $1400 :o

Not got MSN installed, did you send it to the ojhaslam.co.uk one? It's re-routed to a GoogleMail account so should work.
