I've just been having a go with Fences, but can't get used to it at all.
My Laptop Dual Screen goodness (1920x1080)

Like the Fact Fences has HOOGE Icons as my TV is across the Room and my Eyesight is a bit Poo!..
When its not Dual(ing) the Laptop Screen shows the same as the TV plus the Gadgets
