The All New Desktop Thread, Images No Larger Than 800x600

Ah, ok. I don't need a thumbnail feature, so YZdock does the trick for me. I just use it as a replacement for desktop icons. On another note: Paramount, thanks for that theme, it really is nice isn't it... its so... white! :D
 
Heres mine so far:) - all I need is a desktop email client, does anyone know of a good one? I have been looking everywhere!!

I am using Rainmeter, rainlendar and objectdock

Few questions for the people using programs to change desktop appearance. I'm using AveDesk 1.2 to make large Mac style clickable icons. It came with My Computer and the Recycle Bin already configured, which work well. I made a new one linked to my documents, and gave it a similar mac style .png icon. However, it randomly and quite frequently changes itself to a massive windows style yellow folder, which I have to then go into the properties to change back. Anyone know why this is happening and how to fix it?

The icons are minium, if you stick that in google you'll find them right away. The theme is VistaXP by Kol, the glassy effect on the taskbar is through windowblinds 5.

I mustr agree with Dru, that wallpaper is very nice. Did you create it yourself? Are you willing to share it with us mere mortals? :)

Wallpaper was adapted from this. Obviously, its not mine so I can't distribute it. But if you really want it, you could probably "adapt" my screenshot!

Yep, very helpful thanky :) I was half hoping the glassy effect wasn't windowblinds though :p I've been too lazy to install that. Thanks for the icons too. Do you know any other full icon sets? By full I mean, icons for practically everything, control panel, explorer, network connections etc...

Have a look around The Iconfactory, there are quite a few sets on there :)

This is another nice icon set. I'm actually using these in a screeny I'm putting up later! lol

Is there an easier way to use these icons than manually setting every folder?

Like a program of some sort that will do it for me?
