The All New Desktop Thread, Images No Larger Than 800x600

it just removes the watermark

Can't see why it'd be a problem then!!.. I don't think there's anything in the 'Terms and Conditions' of the Beta that says it 'HAS' to show the watermark!!..

Though I could be wrong.. it is Microsoft were dealing with here!!.. :D

Someone else might know!!..

emailed you both the file, you can also get rid of the "send feedback" by using regedit

HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Control Panel\Desktop

find "FeedbackToolEnabled and modify to "0" value

please use at your own risk

it's a BETA operating system. it's for beta testing.

don't get me wrong, I'm going to get rid of the watermark myself, but if you've chosen to run the win7 OS as your only OS, you're rather silly.. and refusing to send feedback is just.. rude.

I’m not sure what you mean? I ran vista as my main OS on laptop while in beta iv got lots of setups with different OS installed I find the best way to get to grips with a new OS is play around with it I can’t be bothered in having my day to day OS then test how good Win7, I would like to see if it can work for me in a day to day basis as the core is still pretty much Vista there isn’t much issues with drives like we had back when Vista was in beta.

In regards to the feedback when I signed up to the beta it didn’t say I "had to send feedback" and if I’m not bothered to give feedback on this install why have the link?
