Samurize. Lovely program. but a pain in the rear to configure. It also wasn't that stable last time I tried it.
So i take it it does a lot more than just show whats on TV next? What else can it do? I looked at its web page and it seems to do everything
Does it use up a lot of system resources when running? If not i might give it a try sometime.

Sorry I have been away for a few days and did not see the requests for this wall paper.

The link above is lower res than the one I have. The only thing is I can't find the DL link of my one on the NASA site.

If anyone wants the high res one @ 3000x2008 18 megs. I have uploaded it to my site for you to grab. It is a 7.6 meg rar and I will leave the link up until next Saturday.

STS-117-Atlantis-launch-platform.rar [7.6 MB]

thanks for that. where did you get this image at such high res. just wondering if there are others to be grabbed.

by the way - get it into photoshop and run shadow/highlight on it and it looks even better.

cheers

Oh, I think I really like this wall tbh :D

It does pretty much anything you want. However you do have to download a config or design one yourself.

Tv, comp stats, clocks, calendars etc etc etc.

All depends what your config is to how much resources it uses.

Is my opinion of Samurize. I've seen some stunning examples of it over the years. I downloaded it once and just look at the interface and gave up. :o

I used Samurize when it first came round on these forums, and you are right it did have a bit of a PITA interface, but the amount of things you could do with it was brilliant, and at the time there wasn't really anything else like it.

These days you have sidebar gadgets, widgets etc etc, which are a lot easier to use, but I still love Samurize just because with a little imagination you could do anything with it and have it look exactly as you want it.

I dont use it anymore, but I still get the urge to knock up a config now and again, but its too time consuming when you start and fiddly.

And it was always pretty stable when I used it, but I may have been lucky.
