So with Apple admitting yesterday that the iPhone 4 has an hardware fault it looks like us consumers have grounds to cancel our 24 month contracts.

No. The data referred to people who have reported problems. There's a big difference.

How are google apps users setting up their mail accounts on iOS 4 then? Still using exchange or the improved "gmail" account type?

I use the 'gmail' account setting with it set to fetch every 15 minutes. I don't like the enforced 1 minute lock when using it as an exchange account.

I see everyone ordering the phone so I am assuming that it is not a Major problem anymore?

I know I'll get flamed for it but I'm going to repeat what I said when this first hit the press.

It's all been blown up out of proportion. It's not a major problem, never was.

That symbol appears whenever there is data being transferred. If you're on wifi then you'll have the wifi indicator and not a 3G/E/o symbol. When you're on wifi you don't use any of your data allowance.
