just ordered a new camera (thought i might as well get it now and therefore not have to drag around *** DSLR...although i might still bring it.) which should be here tomorrow and be charged and ready for thursday :D
 
hmm, i live in uttox and know a fair few people from alton, they havent experienced any rain so far. hope it goes ok and doesnt rain for you

+ flib, if your staying in the old royd next to rounderbout, be careful of driving a low to the gorund car, theres a possibility of scrapeage and the car parks for hotel place is gravely, cant go ruining the apint work!

also, if you plan on eating at towers, go either early or later, as if you go at lunch time its hella busy.

Well I got the okay to leave a little early on Thursday, so I should be there before 5.

All going well of course.

I cant believe how close this is - Only seems like yesterday we were in Leeds :o

Right, just had the traditional pre-meet hair chop - I no longer look like a cleaning utensil :o

Will get home and do my ironing, followed by packing. I'll leave straight from work tomorrow, and if I get away when I plan to I will be with you all just after 4pm.

Much wootage :D
 
I'll be leaving straight from work tomorrow byt can't get away until 6 :(

I had that done 6 weeks ago... which means its had the chance to grow a bit longer before the meet (I have slow growing hair). Hopefully it doesn't look too Harry Potter-esque.

Had to have one of the tires changed on my car, the garage guesstimated about 200 miles or so left of life on it, particularly as it was showing considerably more wear than the others. Given its an 196 mile trip to get to Uttoxeter for me, I figured it'd be sensible to get it changed! Don't want a tire blowing out on me on the motorway :eek:
Got the wheels laser aligned properly too, and the alignment soon showed why that tire had been worn the worst. Looks like my grandad (previous car owner) must have hit the kerb hard a few times.. :D
 
Haircut booked for 9.45 tomorrow, will leave wife to do packing :)

Looking to be a good meet, hope I'm not to fat to get on the rides :D

I'm shortly going for one of them myself. :D

May even have myself a proper shave as well... mmm... cut-throat razors rock.
