This has been my problem too. As it turns out, the games I bought since getting my 295X2 in Sept have all been without a Crossfire profile, so I might as well have bought a 290X. Hopefully that will change now though, and I know Ubisoft are at least 50% responsible for the Far Cry 4 Crossfire SNAFU.
 
Believe me, I know that.

I bought a 290x reference on release (£499.99) and then a 295x2 for £699.99. I'm currently using all three in my system

That's a ridiculous amount on GPU's

Don't get me wrong, I am annoyed at AMD. I managed to complete Dying Light at 2160p at 40fps with most things at max other than view distance and AA.

I would have preferred a crossfire profile and 60fps+ but it was actually still playable.
 
The drivers are ready, AMD are just watching this forum have a laugh at people acting like this....
