The AMD Driver Thread

I was also hoping to play some FC4 with working cf before hitting the hay but oh well, lets see if they are released when I wake up... which I doubt because its known fact that AMD is never on time.
 
its things like this that make me worry about were AMD are today with regards to the bigger picture. 3 months to release a new driver, then the driver can't even drop at a respectable time, maybe not even dropping at all at this rate. Plus no info on the 3 series card yet when it's prime time slot to release with the Titan X being so overpriced and not ground breaking enough IMO. Maybe things are a lot bleaker than we thought with AMD, this kinda thing doesn't really instil my confidence in them. And Matt is completely quiet on the whole shenanigans here. If memory serves me right, it was about a month ago now he said these drivers are very close to release. Just feels like things are slipping to much at the moment.
 
It's only a set of drivers at the end of the day, it's not life or death.

I'm sure they're doing their thing at the other end. And Matt doesn't control when they get released so we can't really blame him, You can't shoot the messenger!
