• Competitor rules

Please remember that any mention of competitors, hinting at competitors or offering to provide details of competitors will result in an account suspension. The full rules can be found under the 'Terms and Rules' link in the bottom right corner of your screen. Just don't mention competitors in any way, shape or form and you'll be OK.

The AMD Driver Thread

BF6 as far as i'm aware prevents the use of both ReLive and the perf overlay. It may be intrinsic to the version of Javelin used in the game, though I'm not sure.

I do hope 7000 series users see FSR4 at some point, I think they would appreciate it. I've never expected to get any further enhancements for the 6900XT. If it does come with a 15-20% performance drop (finger in the air figures) on older hardware, then would I even use it? Probably not. But as people have said, give them the option at least. Can't argue with that.

What will be funny is, if true and this does land, what will the small band of oxygen wasters and doom-mongers do afterwards. Can't pick on FSR4 IQ, as it is a good upscaler. Can't pick on drivers, as they are in a great place (for last few years). Can't pick on feature set or backwards compatibility. Can't criticise pricing. Guess it'll just be... PT. lol. The list of despair would be even smaller! :p

Think the performance drop will be worth it FSR4 performance in most games looks better than FSR 3 quality.

So what you're saying is my weird dream I had the other day were JayzTwoCents was a vigilante going around his local neighbourhood beating up all the criminals has more chance of happening than AMD making FSR4 support for RDNA 2 and 3 official.
I'd hope engineering are working towards something along those lines given how ****** off people are, but this video and that garbage article are no indicator whatsoever.

I know dude not having a go at you just being a bit of a **** :)

But what I think happened is you had a few peeps that spent months working on the Int8 version and then someone high up said no, so they got mad and then you got the accidental release hoping it would force the high ups to change their minds and then they just doubled down.

This one was particularly annoying! Sometimes it'd be the mouse only but most of the time it was both keyboard and mouse.

Just installed it but am done gaming for the night, would really like fsr4.1 on STALKER2 but haven't even looked at the support yet.

AMD could put all this to rest by saying something, yes or no and why can i run Cyberpunk perfectly with FSR4 on an RX 7800 XT?
