The AMD Driver Thread

nice work AMD. can't wait to see the benchies.

Matt how did you get on talking to DICE about them mucking up mantle in the last patch of BF4?

Dying Light no different, cards actually spike all over the place, and drop to stock speeds and 40% each. Also, I dont see a Dying Light CAP at all. Matt??

Is it ok to install these straight over the top of the Previous BETA? I'm confused by the inclusion of the Tutorials on how to Install/Uninstall

Any chance of PLP eyefinity for my r9 290's? I have been waiting for PLP eyefinity ever since multi-monitor gaming came around and was so excited to see it in the last driver, only to be sad to see its only on the R9 285.

Real PLP is a hardware feature which the R285 has, the 290 does not.

I don't understand what you mean by Dying Light cap?

Dying Light is not overly friendly to multi gpu setups, so you're unlikely to see 99% gpu usage.

Uninstall old drivers, restart, install new drivers, restart and play.

Good to see some drivers just before launch but STILL only beta version, seriously?!

You do realise our Beta is the same as WHQL but without MS certification right? The Beta drivers undergo extensive testing before we release them.

Similiar experience for me. Not tried crossfire since launch day but performance was no different to running one card, around 50% usage (cpu usage was around 50% as well so plenty of headroom).
