The AMD Driver Thread

Going to buy a 4K Monitor today, I'm aware I won't max all games at 60fps, but for what I play it's comfortable from what I've seen on benchmarks.

I've heard some issues with 4k and Display Port with AMD cards. Has this been resolved now? It was popping, flickering, standby issues etc.

Had this https://www.overclockers.co.uk/showproduct.php?prodid=MO-019-AO&groupid=17&catid=1895 in mind, I know it's not top of the line, but I've £400 to spend.

Hoping the newest drivers has resolved the issue at least.

What cards are you running? I don't have any of the issues mentioned with DP port but that doesn't mean others have not. :)

One card isn't ideal right now really for 4k, but it does very much depend on the type of game you are playing. If you have seen the games you want to play running well on your card at that res then go for it, you could always add another card further down the line if need be. :)

I hope there is Dying Light profile, and perhaps a more refined FC4 profile included, although I suspect the latter is more to do with the game than the crossfire profile.
 
So happy drivers are coming, hopefully they are out by the time it releases here not just America (or does it unlock worldwide?)

Hope for you crossfire guys it works, nvidia drivers support SLI from the get go so AMD need to match them. Will make the 295x2 look very good.
