The AMD Driver Thread

I've watch your posts and seams to me that if AMD sold you a **** filled sandwich you'd say it was great.

AMD has no where near the support of NV and never will.

No, I have already said what I don't like about AMD. If I don't have any problems then why should I post? Am happy everything working fine least for me.

All I did was ask him what problems he is having? All I did was explained to him whql driver label means nothing.

All am trying to do is help him.

If you not happy then fine, I couldn't give a toss tbh least I can say I tried to help.

On top of that, the virtual lack of support for the already released Project Cars and the announcement that the Witcher 3 optimised driver won't be ready until next week are just additional nails in the coffin.

You got a link for the announcement that Witcher 3 optimized drivers not being released until next week?

WHQL might not mean anything, but the clear "Beta" badge next to 15.4 is a clear indication this is not considered a stable, final release driver. Therefore not making my point any less valid.

I have also had issues with the mouse cursor bug, not being able to wake the display up, overclocking, Flash crashes, little to no support for the 7900 series cards, all that since about 14.4 WHQL, and the constant re-badging of existing cards into "new" models sold at full price, as if AMD does not need to compete with anyone any more.

Check whql and you'll also see known issues.

Witcher 3 driver is this week lol check the date from Roy Tweet..
Overclocking amd don't support overclocking that's your own fault and know how.
Flash, can be results of bad overclocking let me guess display Driver stopped responding?

Sorry to burst your bubble, but I grew out of having pointless "internet debates" a while ago, and do not respond well to condescending posts. On that note, I am done having a chat with you.

Still no drivers from AMD? What are they waiting for the last second before Witcher 3 is officially out to release them? lol

In my opinion they should have had drivers out a full 24 hours before a big game like Witcher 3 is out.

AMD now more than ever look like they really need a slam dunk with the 300 series.

And how will the 300 series help if the drivers for NV sponsored games are not on time, so your comment does not make sense.

I expect AMD to not be on time with drivers with the majority NV sponsored games if at all.

And in regards to the TW3 the current AMD drivers are holding up very well even against NVs TW3 drivers.

I get 22fps maxed out on a single 290. Same fps in crossfire and hairworks takes off about 10fps. This is the witcher 3 of course. It unlocked 10 mins ago.
