The AMD Driver Thread

Hoping it fixes crashes "driver side using windows 10" when the simulator starts on runway on prepar3d v3, it does not crash in windows 7 "same machine" dual boot using the same GPU etc

I really do want it running on windows 10.

I was hoping for some DX11 driver overhead reduction but the slides don't seem to mention anything. Maybe something that's not possible I guess. They are claiming more DX12 performance which is nice.

AMD's arch might be so different compared to nvidia's so it might be impossible for them to do same improvements nvidia did to theirs. Ofc even small imprvements on that chart would be most welcome. Too many games are getting cpu capped (more or less) with AMD hardware under dx11.

Edit. If this bench is legit, it seems there is serious overhead improvement:

Though rest are reporting that there is no overhead improvements.

When is the official launch date for these drivers? Since the new Windows 10 1511 update installed I keep getting random GPU related BSOD's :/

I have tried the latest official and beta's and they do the same thing, fine before the update installed the other day.

Might try the leaked ones above.

Driver is releasing today.

Looks like Fallout went up quite a lot. Did the 15.11.1s not give an increase on their own?

Just installed the leaked drivers directly over the old CCC without DDU. Crimson interface looks fine but one problem encountered straight away. MSI on screen fps appears in the interface window since the interface is rendered in directX mode

Drivers seem to be the older 15.11 instead of the latest 15.11.1 beta which I had installed. Fallout 4 seems the same to me but maybe due to the older driver version.

The only additional option that could affect performance in games is the shader cache. Everything else looks about the same to me apart from the extended FRTC range option.
Going to try some more games to see if there is any improvement. My 7970 looks like it's dying so only testing in single card mode.

If you want to remove the OSD from Afterburner. Go into rivertuner and add the AMD crimson .exe and then remove the OSD option.
