The difference here would be the connection method(well monitor to). I have a spare 290 as well where the issue happens. It also is further backed up by the number of posts around the net with similar issues all connecting through HDMI but i cannot find any where the monitor is connect through DP. Atleast it removes a worry i have about a new monitor im looking at.

Fury + Asus MG279Q using Display Port here, I have Freesync problems (not working at all in some games, working just fine in others).
Well there goes my theory then.. So its not the connection method, its not the OS itself or updates it seems. Only thing left is other hardware interfering or specific bios settings but i feel the last one is a bit of a long shot and extremely difficult to check for.

Ive never used Afterburner since i got my Furys, i just use the RTSS for displaying the info, temps etc..., and to cap my frames.

Sorry guys,but what am I missing I cant see the target temperature or target fan speed setting in my wattman...I just have one section which lets be change the constant fan speed....I have a 390....

I have an RX 480 and have had lots of crashes, alt tabbing, in game (WOT) I just had a complete freeze then screen went black and recovered, then some message about Wattman
Previous was completely stable

Yep it's much use as chocolate teapot 30fps with xfire on 70-80 single card
A question I have with relive is should I chill option on r290 card? Can't see it in wattman
Same issue here, also on a 390. See my earlier post for link to a thread on the amd forums with a couple of others reporting the same on 3xx series cards.
Are you remembering to click "apply"? It's easy to miss the little button.

And first of all, most of the games I run are window (borderless) and it seems I can only record these if I enable desktop recording, which means I record everything on my desktop?
I don't have this issue with Window 10s DVR or Raptr?

Same here.. shortcuts dont work when i try to start/stop recording unless i tab/click onto another screen, if it works its once in a blue moon for me

I updated my drivers specifically for it...
AND had my first video lockup in many many months! Wish I hadn't bothered now
Back to using the Windows 10 DVR, and hoping the video lock up was a one off!
