The AMD Driver Thread

Gonna install it now and try some Overwatch tonight hopefully. Already taken some benchmark FPS figures but I know from experience it's more about FPS dips than average values, which can be hard to quantify.

I'm assuming I don't need to install ReLive to get the new overlay stuff?

Just tried Prey, the overlays fantastic :D, can do anything on the fly, and as soon as you close it down, you're back to controlling the game in an instant, and the performance metrics are a great addition as well, just a little small (on 1440p), but i guess thats subject to change, so no more Afterburner!

Only played one match so far but no crazy FPS drops like I saw with the 17.7.2 drivers. FPS in my couple of benchmark areas is up ~2% (statistically insignificant).

They don't need a toggle to be optimised for compute workloads unlike previous GPUs.
matt, is there any possibility of you poking the devs and suggesting they add the ability to remove multiple profiles. it causes so many issues with the gui crashing and hanging and its such a small fix to resolve in the grand scheme of things. either allow us to remove the profiles in batch or do not auto detect games on opening the software, instead et us scan for games. i have around 300-400 games on my machine, its not fuin when opening the software.

I've already provided this feedback previously, but i hear you.

Really good driver, loads features people asked for in this release. I do agree the Overlay could do with some more work, or even allow us to install user made skins :D In the PCper video AMD do say this is only the framework and more is planed soon.

I was hoping the Freesync would be shown in the overlay performance graph like showing it switching on and off based on the frame rate/Refresh rate.

I love all the new Relive options but for a future update extend the separate mic from game audio even further and give us ability to record more then one audio source also.
