The AMD Driver Thread

I had to install Raptr a couple of days ago because I wanted to take some screenshots in BF4 (Mantle) to show a friend and that seemed to be the quickest/easiest way to do it. So far, not loving Raptr - especially when it keeps telling me 75% of my games aren't optimised as I'm running 5760x1080 High and should be running 1920x1080 Medium! I don't think Raptr will be lasting long on my system and will soon be uninstalled as I don't think I can be bothered to spend the time taming it and turning off all the bits I don't want.

Nope, not just you Gregster. I can see the occasional hitch / stutter too.

It could be the recording / conversion / upload that caused it, which is maybe why Matt doesn't notice it

It's a bit weird what I'm seeing. Not a graphics stutter (graphics seem perfectly smooth), but as the view moves forward it seems to slow down slightly for a moment every second or two seconds or so. I didn't time it though.

Most stream with OBS which fully support both vendors. Very little use anything else. The main reason for
OBS is you can have multiple overlays on your stream.

Soon as you see a overlay you can 100% say they using OBS.

Is there a new version of OBS then? Last time I tried it it didn't have AMD VCE support but did have QuickSync and Nvidia support.

I think someone's forked it to add in VCE but that's not official as far as I'm aware and so streamers may avoid it.

Also, I think Sheever uses XSplit (because she said so) and I'm sure she has overlays.

Anyone know how to get Advanced warfare smooth with crossfire enabled?

It's unplayable - and thats with a gamepad.

This is single player, by the way.

Already disabled all those aching things. Are there particular other settings that cna make it not run like turd?

Unfortunately that game is not multi gpu friendly and a Crossfire profile (even though we have one already present) will not improve on that. A Crossfire profile cannot overcome game or engine limitations.
