They are not quiet though. They do hype, delay, promises, hype, delay, more promises, extra hype, then a couple of hours past release time, it's more delay again. Then you've still got their social media accounts hyping the drivers that have been delayed and pointing to non-existent download pages. ****-up and breweries come to mind, and this isn't the first time.
There's something wrong when you've been delaying for months, breaking promises, and a few hours before the hyped release time, you still don't know if you are going to ship on time. Better not to make promises at all than to make promises and break them.
Any company wants their customers on their side, not grumpy and annoyed by the above behaviour, threatening to go to a competitor product, and generally feeling unhappy towards the company, all of which we've seen in this thread, let alone other threads at tech sites around the web.
