I understand, but if issues are fixed in a game patch and not a Catalyst Driver then there is nothing we could have done about it previously.

Good news, no need for a Catalyst Driver update folks.
As for Flickering seen in The Witcher 3 with MSAA enabled, no further update. It will be fixed in a future game update or an updated Catalyst Driver.
Great explanation for how pcars performance increased by 17% with one driver update and probably another 10-15% on the Win10 drivers....clearly Roy was talking out of his behind when he said it was all SMS's fault.

TBF, you don't know if the AMD driver team have done a workaround/code replacement in the drivers that fix something buggy the dev team should have done themselves.
