problem is, even checking a mini dump isn't going to tell why which part of the driver is causing the crash, only that the driver is crashing. i/e enabling enhanced sync. the only way to truly know is keep a record of changes made and which cause the crash. which for the most part of why people dont give any details, as they dont really know or analyse what they have changed in detail. or debug the driver with the dev tools used to make it![]()
No but I was just asking the obvious question was the BSOD caused by the driver. It would also tell you which driver file was involved too so the question would be is it always the same file within the driver causing the issue.
For instance for all we know it could be the HDMI audio driver. Just wondered if anyone has actually checked whats causing it I've not seen anyone state which part of the driver it is and whether several people have the same crash with the same part of the driver software. Just as an example I use headphones so wouldnt be using the HDMI audio driver.
