*** The AMD RDNA 4 Rumour Mill ***

I hope this isn't true..Delaying release when suppliers already have the stock and Nvidia are releasing the 50 series next week just seems like madness to me.
Honestly AMD might as well pack it up this launch.

If they did launch just these 2 and forget anything else, not like that haven't done that before.

Kinda feels like AMD needs more time to cook up a proper line up and if this falls outside of Nvidia release window then they should.

I actually hope this line fails if it releases at a high price.

i'm gonna have to put this thread on ignore till some facts appear - every time i see a notification for it i think 'finally, some concrete news'......only to wander in and find it's a load more guff and made up guff at that :p
Lot of leaks so far been close to the fact In recent years.

own goal and after own goal, at least they are consistent every launch in some respects:eek:

it could be they want to release at the same time at the 5070ti, they need to know how much it will launch for and price accordingly.

You really are an insufferable troll it seems lol
You only come on to post snide remarks don't you.

Good says 43%

I presume you mean Google? And here is a quote direct from Nvidia's financial reports.

"Our gross margin was 38.3%, 32.2% and 28.8% for fiscal 2006, 2005 and 2004"

So at the time AMD would have been looking to buy ATI, their gross margins would have been roughly the same as Nvidia's.

As someone who was very close to the wire on that trade, you are correct on all accounts, sir :) The other motivation was a question of scaling and efficiences against the juggernaut that was Intel on one side and the more efficiently-structured amd OEM-embedded nVidia on the other -- "synergies", as we used to call them.

Well you weren't as close as you thought you were and He isn't right on all accounts. In fact he is only right in saying that ATI were going well. AMD wanted to buy Nvidia. They were even close to signing an agreement. The deal broke down because Jensen wanted to be CEO of the merged company. Once that failed the only way for AMD to get GPUs was to go after ATI. They would have got Nvidia a lot cheaper because ATI were going really well at the time. It cost AMD $5.6 billion to get ATI whereas they agreed a deal with Nvidia for $4.5 Billion until it fell through.

Well if it is indeed madness, then that would be the AMD thing to do. So I rate this a nailed on cert, because you normally take every sensible step and rule it out of AMDs playbook. I lightly jest of course because I think this “leak” is pure BS.

Having said that. We’ve been expecting AMD to miss the open goal. It looks like they will oblige and break their neck in the process of missing the open goal.

So basically you're taking a random post on reddit as 100% set in stone legit?

Lmao

It can be wrong, it can be right.

I stand by most leaks in recent years, if anything the past 10 years have been correct.

For recent events, take the Switch 2 and the immense leaks that happend in the last year alone and how a lot of it was spot on.

Yep and sadly it won't be a wake up call because they keep doing this.

In my eyes, AMD is unable to find a consistent way to release their products, everything is on the back end of Nvidia instead of just releaseing their products when the product is ready.

Nvidia in the 4000 series had almost a full stack of SKUs before AMD released there 7800XT.

This would hardly be considered a leak, this is someone making a claim that he called a store and got told xy and z.
