This would be funny and you could be right - Maybe they are currently reprinting any pricing due to being more competitive.Christ I would laugh it it turns out all this chaos is because amd expected the 9070xt to match the 5070ti and it turns out it's better than the 5080, and they panicked because they priced them too low. I mean I don't think that's at all the case on any level. But it would be funny. 9070xt £850 but matches the 5080
AMD are not going to release anything this year that will challenge a 5090. Check hardware unboxed or tech powerup website to see where the GPUs perform.I was going to get a 5090 but like most others failed to get anywhere before systems crashed! Given the prices, im now thinking AMD may be my way forward. I never really followed AMD much nor know a lot about them or the products. Am i right in assuming cards ending XTX are akin to the TI cards form nvidia, ie a beefier version of an exisitng card? IF thats right, given theres a new set of cards out soon, generally is an XTX version released fairly soon after?
My thinking is if i cant get a 5090 for reasonable money, an AMD that does most of what a 5090 does but a whole lot less would be better value for me. Am i thinking wrong?
