I'm just going off HW unboxed 1440p data which shows it performs the same as a 4070tiS, 1440p will be the most common resolution with this card and even at 4k the upscaling will take you down to 1440p or less. That's a really odd way to word it given its faster than a 4070 Ti Super, its equivalent (unless you want to argue about 4%) to the £800+ 5070 Ti for £230 less, yes i think that's good.
Yeah I'm rather torn too, still on a 3080 and whilst tempted as the price is good in the current climate it's still not quite amazing enough to jump I feel.Hmm, not the 50% improvement across the board over my 3080fe that was expected. I'm not sure I'll bother now![]()
I'd love to buy PowerColor Reaper, but I'm not happy with vram temps 90 and 92 C Max.
Imagine summer time
might as well be like us lot and place £2k on liquid-cooling gear in the ocuk basket as you buy a £700 gpu.I'd love to buy PowerColor Reaper, but I'm not happy with vram temps 90 and 92 C Max.

Have u got a link? Edit: read that as dual inline memory modules but its short for dimensions.dimms of the gpu, only 289x111x41 mm
where pulse is 320x120x62 and has better temps on vram
Yeah that's why people shouldn't be getting carried away with any of these cards at current pricing. People are behaving like its a crypto boom yet the cards are not mining money for anyone in fact they are losing money on them.pricing now though...people buying the msi gaming trio 5070 for £700....for 4070super performance you could have bought for £500 back in nov??? crazy
why so hot?
Agreed - not sure why they are charging the highest price for their o/c model when they only have a two year warranty.Might have made the heatsibk in a way that it doesn't contact the vram modules to sink heat away. A teardown would be nice to see whats going on.

pushed it too hardAmazed how much power it uses. 50w more than a 5080. How do they manage that?
