Bets in for tomorrow, hoping for amd card thats equivalent to a 1080ti, runs silent or close to, and costs 500 or less

just looked for fury x anD nano and couldnt find much in stock anywhere :o

Well they've been out of production for nearly a year now. You'll have to look at some EU shops to find any, and the prices are probably jacked up because they're no longer made.

Still though, just a few hours until Computex, so hopefully AMD show some good things.

Well, if the cards are going to be weeks away, then I hope this triggers some flash sales on 1080ti's - hey, I can dream.

But I have been very tempted to pick up a 1080ti last few days.

pics are too big for the forum (1280 max) ban plz.
I thought the new forum software fixed that and we did not have to worry about image sizes no more. I could be wrong though.

I'd think they will have a nice list of cards, minimum two, with rough reference specifications, and ballpark pricing, a bit like Nvidia did with FE cards.
Yeah, I expect minimum two also, but hopefully more.

Wait, does that mean some actual news is coming tonight?

AMD Computex itinerary

3 am RX naming scheme
3:15 am Baseball cap architecture
3:30 am Sizing & peak designs
3:45 am Announce paper release date
4 am Tea in the Rose garden

8 am Forum uproar.

I think I'll have a lie in tomorrow.

@ TNA You should have reserved 5 or 6 posts at the beginning of the thread.

One of those slides says it can do 4xFP8. What happened to that? Doesn't seem to have been mentioned recently.

That could be quite important for Deep Learning, since I believe the Tensor Cores Google created use FP8 for some tasks. And Vega would then have 52 TFlops FP8.

Not reviews, but probably some bull**** AMD slides yes (that are entirely situational to put Vega in the best light possible) :)

Tbf they both do it.

It would be crazy not too so we'll probably see results for Doom, RE 7 & Hitman as well as a few others.

All I want is a date and a price. I'm going to buy one regardless as i do not want to lose Freesync.

The slides state Double Precision Rate is configurable, so it's likely it's all on Radeon Instinct.

Well at circa £600 for quite a number of models, I would say there is already channel movement starting in the background.
