Not 100% yet but probably paper. Polaris had a paper launch of June 1st and cards hitting shelves on the 29th. Seems to me that they're buying as much time as they possibly can, so wouldn't surprise me if they're aiming for a similar timescale.
We do not know. But chances are it will be a paper launch with the cards being available sometime in August.

What with Polaris unavailable, Vega nowhere to be seen and Nvidia undoubtedly about to start turning the screws again. Dark times ahead for the GPU game. At least the CPU game is exciting again.

Absolutely nothing. There could be some consumer cards released last day July, early August but according to some rumours that isn't looking certain to be an actual release, and even if it was actually availability looking to be 1 month later at least..
Somethings gone wrong. Vega 10 might be a really short lived product with Vega 20 hopefully on time to compete with Volta leased soon after Vega 10.

My guess is that Vega performs around the same as a 1080. But the HBM2 is costing them so much that they would have to sell it for more lol.

The GPU photo was an actual enchanced take of the GPU die apparently. Its standard practise to overlay colours, etc on top of the real photo hence dimensions speculated on re HBM2 could be correct info

There's been no mention of the FE cost anywhere yet
Vega is nothing to do with the new Xbox either. That's still based on Polaris architecture (basically a RX 580 with a few extra CU's, but clocked lower, with a "pool" of 12Gb GDDR5 of which 9.5Gb can be used by the developers.
