The Ampere RTX 3060 Ti Owners Thread

Not sure if it is enabled by default. If you go into Geforce Experience -> Settings you should see a tick box which says Enable experimental features. Tick this and I also make sure in-game overlay is enabled. Then pressing Alt+Z and selecting Performance you should see it.

I tried it. It crashed on Factorio. Will try again after a restart to see if that helps.

Cracking card so far, cool and quiet even when OC'd doesn't go above 64 degrees @ +120 core, and +1200 memory, using auto fan curve, had it boosting to 2050MHZ. Not messed with voltage at all, I'm not really an OC'er but just thought I'd have a go with Afterburner.

In case anybody is interested here are the benchmarks I've got on my set-up, Zotac 1080ti Amp Edition vs. 3060ti FE @ UltraWide 3440x1440

• Borderlands 3 - 46fps to 57fps (24%)
• AC Valhalla - 45fps to 52fps (16%)
• Division 2 - 50fps to 66fps (32%)
• Doom Eternal - 102fps to 140fps (37%)

Maxed out settings in each game

Managed to buy a Palit Dual 3060 Ti:






I had a 5700 XT before. The 3060 Ti is quiet and performance is pretty good so a reasonable upgrade that cost me nothing. I really like the honeycomb backplate as it allow air to freely flow through and out the card.

The fact they announced a 12Gb 3060ti almost conforms the presence of higher vram 3080s and possibly a 3070.

I would think the cars to buy would be a 3070ti. If one wants price/perf.

I think the 3060 will come with 12GB VRAM. Which everyone is saying is weird because it is slower than 3060Ti but has more VRAM

I think it's a move before the 3070 and 3080 get more vram.

Without actually confirming it.

But it's weird that a 3060 has more vram than the 3070s and 3080s. So I think it's a move they have made before they introduce them.
