There were stutters only fixed by putting textures on low around launch but a few drivers ago that was fixed. I play that game multiple times per week and there are no issues with it for me.

Upgraded from Pascal titan also to 3080 game runs fine solid 100fps @ 3440x1440 unlike my prior titan (gysnc monitor)

@ 3860x2160 I get solid 60fps (oled) older c7 preferred gaming screen.

Max settings both.

Heafy compared to the founders but it's a beast of a card.
I was tempted by the one on a famous auction site the other day for £980 but when I check it would no way fit in my case

Surprising to find them below £1000 at the moment, even used

It's hefty even for an AIB card. I would rather just wait patiently and play other games than get scalped.
 
I have a 2080Ti at the moment, what sort of performance improvement would I see going to a 3080, 40% maybe 50%?

If 50% and I can get a reasonable price for my 2080Ti (which i think i could as it's still got 700 days on warranty) then it would place the 3080 at £1050 going on a 50% improvement. £980 if 40%

I'm tempted to get a new 3080 at £1100 scalpage price and sell my 2080Ti on

Maybe 40% at 4k. It was a 60-65% uplift vs my old 2070 super at 1440p and the 2080ti was always about 35% faster? Probably more like a 30%+ uplift at 1440p.
 
Any EVGA 3080s brahs in here?

I had a scare when my 3080 started black screening when running games or rendering. On the EVGA forums someone mentioned switching PSU to Single rather than Multi-rail mode. Seems to have fixed the issue, touch wood. Wonder if anyone here has experienced this?

My XC3 arrives Monday, snagged it for £570 :D.

I'm finally going to be part of the exclusive 3080 club. Still trying for a founders edition though.
